I recently found neocities/nekoweb and personal websites! As in 7th Jan 2026 - After stumbling across this video: "how i made my indie website (and why you should make one too)" by AngieBlah(youtube) from Angs-Corner(nekoweb). Since then I have watch numous videos and visited heaps of neocities/nekoweb websites. It had re-ignited my love for personal websites and website building.

HISTORY

I used to make personal websites, many many moons ago - as in from the early 2000's onwards. But dropped it as a focus around 2010. A lot has changed since then and I am only just picking it up again.

I was going to share screenshots of my old personal websites, but then I remembed the "Wayback Machine" exists, and went on a huge deep dive into my old personal websites. Decided it's probably best not to share - way too much absolute cringe! But here is an old screenshot of a Petz site I made all those years ago...back when Petz was big!
